We recommend enjoying your cold brew coffee with milk or cream added and also NOT having it on an empty stomach. Enjoy your coffee as ‘dessert’ in the morning or afternoon, after you’ve eaten to avoid negative side effects of caffeine.

Cold Brew Coffee

What you need

  • 1 cup whole coffee beans

  • 4 cups water

  • Coffee grinder

  • Jar with lid

  • Strainer

  • Herbs (optional)


Prep & Set time approx. 8 hours


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Coarse grind coffee beans

  2. Put coarse ground coffee in jar

  3. Pour water over coffee

  4. Secure lid and shake jar

  5. Allow cold brew to infuse 4-8 hours depending on desired strength

  6. Strain and enjoy! Store in fridge

To make herb infused cold brew:

  • Prepare a hot or cold infusion

  • Use the strained herb-infused water instead of plain water

  • If using hot infusion, make sure water is completely cooled before combining with coarse ground coffee beans

Suggested herbs: lavender, rose, cardamom, sage, coconut, cinnamon, clove
