  • 2 tbsp powdered herbs (optional)

  • Dehydrator or oven

  • Blender or food processor

Prep & Make time approx. 8 hours

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. If using oven, preheat to 200℉.

  2. Place fruit, citrus juice, sweetener and optional powdered herbs in blender and blend until smooth.

  3. Pour a thin layer (1/8-1/4 inch) of fruit purée into a pan lined with parchment paper, spread evenly.

  4. Place in oven or dehydrator and allow fruit purée to dehydrate for 8-12 hours or until dry, not gooey.

  5. Once dry, remove and let cool for 2-3 minutes. Then, cut into strips, roll them up and save for snack time!

  6. Refrigeration is not necessary if they are completely dry. You can always store them in the fridge for longer shelf life.

Get creative with this recipe, see what combinations your kids or family like! The combinations are endless and delicious. You can even be sneaky and add medicinal mushrooms or other herbal powders your kids normally don’t go for. (Thanks fruit and sugar!)
